Kultured Baby was born from a deeply personal place: the birth of my daughter. Watching her discover the world with curiosity and wonder sparked a dream within me. I wanted her to see her greatness reflected in the world around her—to know, without question, that her Black girl magic is real, powerful, and beautiful. I wanted her to have clothes that don't just fit her body but also empower her spirit and connect her to a legacy of brilliance.
As an artist and proud parent, I’m inspired by the same opportunities I had growing up—opportunities to celebrate my culture, appreciate its artistry, and recognize the unbreakable thread that connects us to generations before us. My hope is that *Kultured Baby* can offer the same to my daughter and to children everywhere.
Every design is a love letter to our ancestors' resilience, our artists' innovation, and our community's vibrant spirit. From bold patterns inspired by African textiles to illustrations that honor cultural icons, each piece is crafted with intention and pride.
